- Jeju has no subway. This route works best with a rental car. If using public transport, bus 101 covers the first two legs, but the last two require taxis. Jeju bus routes change frequently — use Kakao Map for real-time bus schedules before each leg.
- Seongsan Ilchulbong opens at 7:00 AM — arriving early avoids crowds and heat, especially in summer.
- The drama's village (Dodong-ri) was actually a purpose-built set in Andong, not a real Jeju location. The Jeju locations are landscape and landmark scenes.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes. Seongsan Ilchulbong involves a 25-minute uphill hike, and Seopjikoji is a 2 km coastal walk.
- Seongeup Folk Village is a living village with actual residents — be respectful of private spaces and keep noise down.
