About
A roadside observatory at the Aphae-do entrance to Cheonsa Bridge, the 7.22-kilometer sea crossing that links Aphae-do and Amtae-do. Opened in April 2019, the bridge was the first in Korea to combine a cable-stayed span and a suspension span in a single structure. The viewing area looks out over the full sweep of the bridge and the surrounding islets. Cheonsa means 1,004, a nod to Sinan's count of islands.
