The hanok birthplace of Kim Jeong-hui (1786-1856), pen name Chusa, the Joseon-era scholar who created the distinctive Chusache calligraphy style. The L-shaped main house was built in the 18th century by his great-grandfather Kim Han-shin, a son-in-law of King Yeongjo. The grounds also contain Chusa's tomb and a stele he inscribed. The adjacent Chusa Memorial Hall displays artifacts and reproductions of his calligraphy and seal-style works.
