Omokdae Pavilion

A hilltop pavilion where Yi Seong-gye (later King Taejo) celebrated his victory at the Battle of Hwangsan in 1380, a pivotal moment before he founded the Joseon dynasty. The panoramic view over the entire Hanok Village from here is the best in Jeonju, especially at sunset when the tile roofs glow amber.
