Korea Tourism OrganizationKorea's national breeding and reintroduction center for the Oriental stork (hwangsae), a species declared extinct in the wild in Korea in 1971 after the last breeding pair was killed in nearby Gwangsi-myeon. Operated since 2014, the 13-hectare park combines a Stork Culture Center, large open-air breeding aviaries, restored paddy wetlands, and trails for observing released birds in the surrounding fields. Free admission and family-friendly facilities make it one of the country's most accessible eco-tourism sites.
