Cherry blossoms bloom at Jayu Park in early April. Sea breezes keep it slightly cooler than Seoul. Great weather for walking Chinatown, Wolmido Island, and the Songdo Central Park boardwalk.

Hot and humid with heavy monsoon rain in July. Eulwangri and Wangsan Beach on Yeongjongdo are popular. Muuido Island is a quieter coastal escape just a short ferry ride away.

The best season to visit. Clear skies and comfortable temperatures make it ideal for Wolmido sunset views, the Chinatown food scene, and open-air markets along Sinpo International Market.

Cold sea winds make the wind chill harsher than Seoul despite similar temperatures. Bundle up on Yeongjongdo and the waterfront. Chinatown's jjajangmyeon alleys and indoor fish markets stay busy.
