Ae-sun's poetry contest at the old government office
At the restored Joseon-era government complex in central Jeju City, Ae-sun joins the village baekiljang (poetry contest) and reads a poem reflecting on her late mother. The Gwandeokjeong pavilion's wooden eaves and stone courtyard frame one of the show's most-cited literary scenes.
