From Cheongnyangni
KTX or ITX-Saemaeul from Cheongnyangni to Gangneung. About 2 hours. Slightly cheaper than Seoul Station departure.

- Book KTX tickets from Seoul to Gangneung at least 3 days ahead — the 2-hour ride sells out on weekends
- The BTS bus stop at Jumunjin Beach requires a significant time commitment (Bus 300 from Gangneung Station, ~50 min each way) and there isn't much else to do nearby. Only visit if you're a dedicated ARMY who wants to see every BTS location
- Gangneung's Wolhwa Street (coffee street) has the highest cafe density in Korea
- Try Chodang sundubu (soft tofu) in Gangneung — it's the city's signature dish
- The last KTX back to Seoul departs around 9 PM — check the schedule on Korail app
