How to reach Haman Station from popular areas
From Seoul Station-
KTX from Seoul Station to Dongdaegu (~1h 40m), then ITX-Saemaul or Mugunghwa from Dongdaegu to Haman (~1h). Total roughly 3 hours one-way. Book both legs in advance on the Korail app.
From Busan Station-
Mugunghwa from Busan or Bujeon Station to Haman, changing or passing through Changwon (~1h 20m). Alternatively, an express bus from Sasang Bus Terminal runs directly to Haman in roughly 1 hour.

- The 2026 Haman Nakhwanori festival is on May 24 (Buddha's Birthday). Free reservations open on Yes24, release roughly 4,000 online slots, and typically sell out in under a minute — set an alarm for the announced opening time.
- The Agyang poppy fields peak in mid-to-late May in most years, overlapping with the festival window. Arrive at the levee by 11 AM to walk the full 1.3 km flower corridor before lunch.
- This is a rural circuit with only about one scheduled bus per day between Haman Station and the Agyang area, so buses are unreliable for a fixed-itinerary visit. Use the Kakao T app for taxis or pre-arrange a half-day charter (~150,000 KRW) to cover Station → Agyang → Mujinjeong.
- Bring a compact tripod and a camera with clean high-ISO (3200+). The 7 PM fire lighting is dramatic but low-light, and the reflection on the pond doubles every spark.
- KTX does not reach Haman directly. From Seoul, take KTX to Dongdaegu (~1h 40m), then ITX-Saemaul or Mugunghwa to Haman (~1h). From Busan, ride Mugunghwa from Busan or Bujeon via Changwon (~1h 20m).
- If you miss the online reservation, roughly 1,800 on-site tickets are released on festival day. Arrive early and expect a queue along the pond edge.
