About
A royal burial complex of the Ara Gaya kingdom (5th-6th centuries), located along a ridge in Gaya-eup, Haman. Over 1,000 tombs span more than 520,000 square meters, making it the largest Gaya-era tomb site discovered in Korea. It is the only Gaya tumuli site that contains both early and late Gaya-period burials. The complex was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in September 2023 as part of the serial property 'Gaya Tumuli.'
