About
A boardwalk along the cliff edge looks down at hexagonal basalt columns rising 30-40 meters from the sea. The columns formed when lava from Hallasan cooled rapidly in seawater. The viewing area is about 1 km long with several lookout points. Designated as Jeju Natural Monument No. 443.
