How to reach Bomun Tourist Complex from popular areas
From Seoul Station
KTX from Seoul Station to Singyeongju takes about 2 hours 10 minutes. Singyeongju is on the high-speed line; the older Gyeongju Station handles only local trains. From Singyeongju, take Bus 700 (timed with KTX, 55 minutes to Bomun) or any local bus to Bomun Tourist Complex.
From Busan Station
KTX from Busan Station takes about 30 minutes. SRT also serves this route at similar speed.

Before You Go
- All three sites are free to enter (parking fees apply at Seokguram, ₩1,000-4,000).
- The most important schedule constraint is Bus 12 between Bulguksa and Seokguram. It runs once an hour, departing Bulguksa at :40 past the hour (8:40 AM to 4:40 PM) and Seokguram on the hour for the return.
- Bus 10 from Bomun to Bulguksa runs every 20 minutes from 6:00 AM to 9:40 PM, no need to plan around it.
- Cash is no longer accepted on Korean city buses. Get a T-money card at any convenience store before the trip.
- Hwangnyongwon is a private corporate meditation retreat, viewable from outside. Do not enter the grounds without a reservation.
- Cherry blossoms peak around early April; autumn foliage along Bomun Lake peaks in late October to mid-November.
