Korea Tourism OrganizationA memorial complex on the birthplace and family land of Yun Bong-gil (1908-1932), the Korean independence activist who threw a bomb at the Japanese military celebration in Shanghai's Hongkou Park on April 29, 1932, killing several senior Japanese officials. The grounds include the Chungui Shrine housing his memorial tablet, his birth house Dojungdo, the Jeohandan altar, and an exhibition hall covering his life and the wider independence movement. Admission is free.
