BIGBANG debuted in 2006 under YG Entertainment and became one of the defining acts of K-pop's second generation. The group built its sound on hip-hop, pop and electronic music, with members heavily involved in writing and producing their own songs.
After performing as a five-member group for most of its career, BIGBANG has continued as a trio of G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung since 2023. Their final single before the reunion was Still Life in 2022.
In 2026 the group marked its 20th anniversary by reuniting for its first world tour since 2017, opening in Korea at Goyang Stadium in August before traveling to cities across Asia, North America, Europe and Australia.
