PSY

PSY, born Park Jae-sang in 1977, is a South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer who debuted in 2001 with the album Psy from the Psycho World. He became known for an energetic and comedic performance style across albums through the 2000s.

In 2012 his single Gangnam Style became a global phenomenon and the first YouTube video to reach one billion views. He followed it with Gentleman and Daddy, and in 2022 released the album PSY 9th with the single That That.

Since 2019 he runs his own label P NATION. Each summer he holds his Summer Swag concert tour, known in Korea as Heumppeok Show, where large volumes of water are sprayed over the audience. It is a uniquely Korean summer experience, and the 2026 tour includes stops at Seoul Grand Park and Busan Asiad Main Stadium.
