THE BOYZ debuted on December 6, 2017, under Cre.ker Entertainment (later merged into IST Entertainment) with the EP The First. Originally an eleven-member group, they continued as ten members after Hwall's departure in 2019. They gained widespread recognition by winning Mnet's Road to Kingdom in 2020, showcasing exceptional stage presence.
In 2024, all members moved to One Hundred. As of March 2026, the group is in a contract dispute with the agency, though their scheduled concerts continue as planned.
