About
A Western-style brick building completed in 1908 near the Gunsan inner port, built to oversee trade through the harbor during the late Korean Empire. Its steep slate roof, arched windows, and European detailing make it one of the most distinctive modern buildings on the waterfront.
The building is a National Registered Cultural Heritage site and now houses the Honam Customs Museum.
