About
A traditional Korean garden and pavilion complex in Namwon, Jeollabuk-do, originally built in 1419 during the Joseon Dynasty. The garden recreates the mythical realm of the Jade Emperor with a lotus pond representing the Milky Way and three islands symbolizing the homes of Taoist immortals. It is the legendary setting of Chunhyangjeon, one of Korea's most famous love stories.
