About
The southern main gate of Hwaseong Fortress, built in 1796 as part of the fortress construction. Designated as Treasure No. 402, it features a distinctive crescent-shaped outer wall (ongseong) and a hip-roof watchtower. It served as the main ceremonial entrance for royal processions under King Jeongjo.
