KSPO DOME
Seoul, South Korea
Doors usually open 60–90 minutes before the show, and merch lines start 4–6 hours early at major venues like KSPO DOME. Aim to arrive 2 hours before the start time if you want lightstick activation, photo zones, and a calm seating-in. Korean concerts almost always start on time.
Yes. Bring your passport — venues match the name on your e-ticket. Some fan-club presale tickets require ID verification, but the standard general-sale ticket only checks the booking name plus a photo ID.
Phones, the official lightstick, small bags, and sealed water are fine. Banned items: professional cameras, zoom lenses over 200mm, food, outside drinks (other than water), large signs over A3, recording devices, and selfie sticks. Bag checks are standard at all major Korean arenas.
Pop-up stores at the venue (open from 4–6 hours before showtime) and Weverse Shop / Yes24 / Interpark. Avoid GMarket third-party listings — counterfeits are common. Bring a power bank — lightsticks typically use AAA batteries.
Seoul subway runs until roughly 23:30, and most concerts end between 22:00 and 22:30. Kakao T (taxi app) is the most reliable late-night option — expect 1.4× to 1.6× surge for 30–60 minutes after the venue empties. Pre-set your destination in the app before leaving your seat to avoid the queue.
Most major-venue staff manage basic ticketing English. Stage directions and PA announcements are mostly Korean. Download the Papago app (offline Korean → English camera mode) for signs and ticket text. Save your ticket QR + e-ticket as screenshots before going underground.
No. Korean concert culture has no tipping. Don't tip security, bag-check staff, or the parking attendants. Slogan/banner project organizers may run online donations, but those are voluntary and run separately from the venue.
Major arenas (KSPO DOME, Gocheok Sky Dome, Inspire Arena, Jamsil) have English seat maps printed on tickets. Section letters are Roman (A–Z), seat row letters are Korean (가–하). Use Papago camera mode for signs. Volunteers wearing red vests speak basic English at large venues.
Olympic Park has casual options inside; Bangi Station and Olympic Park Station nearby have dozens of bibimbap, ramen, and cafe chains in 5 minutes walking. Check our Plan Your Trip section below for nearby cafes and restaurants.
Avoid scalper sites — they're risky in Korea (transferred tickets are often invalidated at the gate). Try official resale through Interpark / Yes24 first. Weverse fan-club tickets sometimes return to general pool 3–7 days before the show. As a backup, KoreaRoute lists upcoming concerts at the same venue and other shows by the same artist — see the Related Concerts section above.
